TFYT
Tool: What’s Your Story?
When To Use It: When you have the courage to see what you identify yourself with and as.
Why Use It: To gain perspective. It gives you an opportunity to see where your thoughts are and what meaning you attach to yourself. It allows you to see what you believe about yourself and what is limiting you in this situation. It give you a vision of how you are portraying yourself in a particular situation and what your strengths, weaknesses and limitations are.
How To Use It: Record yourself for a minimum of 20 minutes talking about a troubling situation and ask yourself: “What’s my story? What’s my role in this? What do I think I can and can’t do (this is master limited belief recognition TFYT!!) and why can’t I do what it is, I want to do?”. These are major questions that will identify what your beliefs, thoughts, feelings, emotions, degrees, intensities, duration and actions will be. Give yourself a minimum of 6 and max of 24 hours, and go back and listen to the recording to hear what you actually say versus what you are thinking in your head. The are very different and very important. Vibe Shifting is a great TFYT for this situation.
Your Benefit: You will recognize what role you have placed YOURSELF in, and therefor have the control and power to change it. It will free you from your limitations if you have the courage to change.
